Description

The SN267x are multi-purpose waterproof temperature sensors (known as probes) made of stainless steel, with a measuring range of -30 … +180 °C.

The SN267 probe is ATEX certified (FTZÚ07 ATEX 142X) and has a marking II3G Ex ec IIC T3 Gc and II3D Ex tc IIIC T 60 °C … 230 °C Dc. Can be used in potentially explosive atmospheres – Group II, Zone 2 and Zone 22 equipment.

The probes work on the principle of a defined dependence of the change in sensor properties on the change in temperature. They do not produce sparks, arcs or high surface temperatures. The temperature range for use in potentially explosive atmospheres is limited to a maximum temperature of +180 °C (the measuring range must not be exceeded even for a short time). The probes are designed to operate in a chemically non-aggressive environment, and the method of use should be selected according to the temperature and chemical resistance of the housing and power cord.
