SN247x temperature sensors (known as probes) with a Pt1000 sensor are multi-purpose sensors for e.g. dryers, soldering irons etc.

The temperature range for the active part of the stem (ring-coated) is -50 °C … +400 °C, with a short-term range up to +450 °C. The type of power cable used is Teflon insulated, so the temperature around the cable must not exceed 250 °C. The probe is IP67-rated.

The sensors are mainly used to measure the temperature of flue gases and combustion products in the flue ducts of fireplaces, stoves and boilers. The sensors are designed for use in chemically non-aggressive environments.
