Description
SM/E/3 Stainless steel floating switch (float) JOLA is designed for measuring/monitoring the level of liquids. The floating level gauge is suitable for a variety of standing media. Not suitable for mixing boilers or tanks. It is most commonly used in systems where the level of a liquid medium in a vessel or room needs to be monitored in a simple way. Easy installation: threaded or stainless steel threaded flange on request. Side-mounted, horizontal. More information on SM/E/3 can be found under the Documentation tab in the attached pdf documents.
Mode of operation
Rising or falling liquid levels cause the float to move up or down in line with the liquid level. When the float is lifted, it activates a micro-switch in the form of a toggle switch. These units are not suitable for use in turbulent liquids (e.g. in mixing tanks).
