HP-2 Pressure Transducer for higher pressures WIKA is a device that detects the pressure and converts it into an electrical signal, where the quantity depends on the pressure or the fluid.

For the highest pressures
The HP-2 pressure sensor model has been specially developed for demanding high pressure applications up to 15,000 bar [217 .500 psi]. This makes it one of the few pressure instruments in the world that can reliably measure pressures of this magnitude.

High precision
This pressure sensor has very high long-term stability and offers extremely high accuracy at the highest pressures. Measuring ranges up to and including 0 … 10,000 bar [145 .000 psi] can be supplied with an even higher accuracy of 0.25% if desired.

Long lifetime
Thanks to its excellent load cycle stability, the HP-2 has a particularly long service life, even with dynamic pressure profiles.
Protection against cavitation and pressure surges, specially developed for highly dynamic pressure profiles, further extends service life. For water as a pressure medium, this protection is particularly recommended.

In addition, with DIPS – Membrane Impact Protection System, DIPS protects the pressure sensor against cavitation and micro diesel effects; it is particularly recommended for use with water as a medium.

In addition, with the EPC – Interchangeable Pressure Connector, the EPC allows you to change the process connection without having to replace the entire pressure sensor. This system is particularly recommended when cracks may occur on the scalp.
