Description

The CPB5600DP pressure equaliser from WIKA is used as the primary standard for calibrations of pressure devices.

Proven basic standard
Pressure equalisers (dead weight testers) are the most accurate instruments on the market for calibrating electronic or mechanical pressure measuring instruments. The direct measurement of pressure (p = F/A) and the use of high quality materials allow very low measurement uncertainty and excellent long-term stability. That’s why it has been used for years in factory and calibration laboratories in industry, national institutes and research laboratories.

Independent operation
The CPB5600DP model is ideal for ON SITE use in maintenance and servicing applications due to its integrated pressure generation and purely mechanical measuring principle.

Basic principle
Pressure is defined as the quotient of force and area. The central component of the CPB5600DP is therefore a very precisely engineered piston-cylinder system on which a mass load is applied to create individual test points.
Mass loading is proportional to the target pressure, which is achieved by optimally dosed masses. These masses are built to standard gravity (9.80665 m/s²) but can be customised to a specific location and calibrated to DKD/DAkkS.
