CER6000 WIKA Standard Reference Resistance

Description

The CER6000 standard reference resistor from WIKA is used as the primary standard for voltage and resistance in calibration laboratories. It is designed for resistive temperature bridges.

This model is available in two series: the CER6000-RR (Reference Resistance) and the CER6000-RW (Standard Reference Resistance).
The RR series of 4-wire reference resistors offers high accuracy and stability at an affordable price. The RR series is designed specifically for use as a benchmark standard for ASL AC thermocouple bridges, but can also be used in electrical standards laboratories. In addition to the standard fixed values, resistors can be supplied in any value between 1 and 1,000 Ω. The RR series is commonly used as a transfer or reference source in laboratories for calibrating temperature or electrical standards.

The RW series is made of a specially selected low temperature coefficient alloy which is stress-free bonded to formers made of a material with low dielectric loss and high mechanical stability. Long-term heat treatment of the elements ensures long-term stability and a low temperature coefficient of resistance. The elements are hermetically sealed in stainless steel containers and filled with Castrol WOM 14 dry oil.
