990.17 Pressure interface with WIKA hygiene connector

Description

990.17 pressure interface with hygienic connection (diaphragm separator) protects pressure measuring instruments in applications with difficult media. The pressure interface affects the separation of instrument and medium. The pressure is transmitted to the measuring instrument via a filling fluid system within the pressure interface system. A wide range of designs, materials and system fillers are available to meet customer requirements.

The process connection with flushing makes the 990.17 particularly suitable for installation in tanks. With a suitable welding flange, this pressure interface can be integrated into any tank or pressure vessel. Level measurement with pressure interfaces is also possible for process media with higher pressures and high or low viscosity. 990.17 is suitable for CIP (cleaning in place) processes as it meets the requirements for elevated temperatures and chemical resistance to cleaning solutions. The pressure interface can be attached to the measuring instrument by direct connection, or at high temperatures via a cooling element or flexible hose.

WIKA offers different solutions for the choice of material, where the wetted parts and other parts of the pressure interface can be made of the same or different materials. Alternatively, wet parts can be electropolished.
