910.18 The rubber cover for the pressure gauge shall be installed before the pressure gauge and regulator are installed.

Style
The inner and outer rubber surfaces are profiled for greater rigidity. The tyre design maintains the operation of the pressure vent at the rear of the gauge housing and allows the same cover to be used for different gauge designs.
