Metrology and Industry 4.0

SIMER invites you to the Metrology and Industry 4.0 Forum, which will take place in Wednesday 16. 2. 2022 from 9.00 to 16.30, as a parallel programme at INTRONIKA 2022 in Hall A2 at the Economic Exhibition Centre.

Purpose:

The event will present the important role of Metrology in Industry 4.0 and the contribution of metrology to the development and deployment of digital technologies for smart factories. Competences are needed for a successful transition to Industry 4.0 and the future profession “Metrologist in Industry 4.0” will be presented . A workshop will be held with participants on the importance of advanced metrology. They want to introduce visitors, especially young people, to careers in metrology with a practical demonstration of the measuring environment, which will also be available for testing.

The Forum will be full of interesting topics and expert guests, including our own:

Director-Head of Quality Ms. Aleksandra Lepenik lectured on ”Confidence in calibrations is the foundation of metrology”.
