Description

The S8000 -100 high precision chilled mirror hygrometer from Michell is the reference hygrometer for low dew point measurement and humidity calibration in standardised laboratories.

The high-precision chilled mirror hygrometer has a unique advanced dual optics system.

With technology
chilled mirror
, which allows it to directly measure condensate formation on the glass surface, offers the widest possible measuring range from -100 … +20 °C frost point/dew point. The result is exceptional sensitivity and rapid response to frost point changes (the so-called “frost point”), even at very low humidity, where measurements are most challenging.

Fully automated system control means no operator intervention is required. The instrument provides a range of Modbus (RTU/TCP) digital communications and analogue outputs that allow monitoring remotely or via dedicated logging software.

On the rear panel are 4-wire Pt100 connectors for remote monitoring of the mirror temperature. The high contrast LCD touch screen provides a customisable display of the measured values, along with a trend graph and error warnings.

The S8000 -100 version is the S8000 remote precision chilled hygrometer, whose humidity sensor can measure remotely.
