RK 3/K/SIL JOLA limit switch

Description

The RK 3/K/SIL JOLA limit switch is suitable for use in situations where the use of limit switches is questionable due to the working conditions and the work environment. The switch is mounted in the system by means of a hole in the housing, so that it is mounted on an axis in the process that has a maximum rotational path of +/- 180°. Rotation of the axes causes switches in the switch. To ensure correct operation, the length of the cable must be taken into account for the limit switch to ensure that it does not pinch when turning.

RK 3 / K / … limit switches are particularly suitable where the use of conventional limit switches is questionable due to difficult operating conditions, e.g. in damp or dirty environments.

The installation of RK 3 / K / … limit switches shall be made through a through-hole located in the centre of the switch body.

Through this hole, the limit switch must be mounted on a custom horizontal shaft of the device that allows a max. rotation of max. +/- 180 °. Rotation of the shaft causes a switchover. To prevent the limit switch from malfunctioning and the cable from breaking, you must leave enough cable length. Once the limit switch is set on the shaft, it must be fixed with a screw placed inside the switch body.

Limit switches RK 3 / K / … have a ball microswitch (switching contact) as the switching element.
