RAT/H/E/Ex-1G limit switch JOLA

Description

The RAT/H/E/Ex-1G JOLA limit switch is suitable for use in situations where the use of limit switches is questionable due to the working conditions and the work environment. The switch is mounted in the system by means of a hole in the housing, so that it is mounted on an axis in the process that has a maximum rotational path of +/- 90°. Rotation of the axes causes switches in the switch. To ensure correct operation, the length of the cable must be taken into account for the limit switch to ensure that it does not pinch when turning.

RAT Ex limit switches are recommended for applications where the use of conventional fire-resistant encapsulated limit switches is difficult due to harsh environmental conditions. Such conditions include, for example, wet or dirty environments.

The RAT Ex limit switch is installed via a borehole in the head section of the unit.

This borehole shall be used to attach a metal horizontal shaft supplied by the customer, but this shaft shall not rotate away from the horizontal plane by more than +/- 90°. The rotational movement of this shaft activates the switching process. To prevent the limit switch from malfunctioning and the cable from breaking, you must leave enough cable length.

The RAT Ex limit switches are equipped with a micro switch (change-over contact) as the electrical switching element and this element is activated by an internal metal ball. The switching shall be carried out when the limit switch is positioned approximately 17° +/- 8° above or approximately 3° +/- 3° below the horizontal.

Limit switches are not suitable for use on rotating shafts.
