PSD-30 electronic pressure switch with display WIKA standard version

Description

The PSD-30 electronic pressure switch with display of the standard WIKA version is used for pressure control of gaseous and liquid media. The switch opens and closes when the preset pressure is reached.

Awarded for design and functionality
The successful design and excellent functionality of the WIKA switch family has already been confirmed by winning the “iF product design award 2009” for the PSD-30 pressure switch.

The robust LED display is designed with 9 mm high characters (maximum) and a slight inclination to make it easier to read the pressure from a distance. The 14-segment display is used because it presents text very well.
The three-key operation allows simple, intuitive menu navigation without additional help. Menu navigation complies with the latest VDMA standard. The VDMA standard for fluid sensors (24574-1, Part 1 – Pressure Switches) aims to simplify the use of pressure switches by standardising navigation and menu display.

The control buttons are designed to be as ergonomic as possible to ensure quick and easy adjustments. Operation without any additional assistance is facilitated by tactile feedback.

Personalised installation
The installation of the PSD-30 and PSD-31 can be adapted to the individual installation situation. Thanks to the almost unlimited rotation of the screen and the housing of more than 300°, the screen can be adjusted independently of the electrical connection. The screen can always be aligned to face the operator and the M12 x 1 connection is positioned to suit the desired cable routing.

High quality
During the development of the WIKA switch family, great value was placed on robust design and the selection of suitable materials suitable for mechanical applications. For this reason, the housing and the threaded connection of the electrical connector are made of stainless steel. It is virtually impossible to twist or tear the connector.

IO-Link
With a selectable output signal in accordance with the IO-Link communication standard, the PSD-30 and PSD-31 enable fast integration into modern automation systems. IO-Link offers even faster installation, parameterisation and increased functionality of the PSD-30 and PSD-31.
