Description
The CPT2500 USB pressure sensor from WIKA is designed for recording and monitoring the presence of pressure, for calibration purposes and in service industries.
Functionality
The measurement interval for pressure recording can be set from 1 ms … 10 s. For recording intervals longer than 5 ms, the following data is recorded in addition to the current measured value:
- average value over the recording interval
- the maximum and minimum value during the recording interval
This makes it very easy to identify pressure spikes within the entire recording interval. It is also possible to set the conditions for the start and end of recording. In this way, pressure spikes can be detected with a resolution of up to 1 ms.
This makes the CPT2500 well suited for all applications where high resolution pressure profiles need to be recorded and analysed within a limited time period.
Software
USBsoft2500 and the USB-ScanSoft software are supplied with a USB adapter as standard. It can be used to make all the settings for recording pressure profiles. You can graphically display and evaluate the recorded measured values.
In addition to USBsoft2500 and USB-ScanSoft, WIKA-Cal calibration software is also available for calibration tasks. With this software, the data is automatically transferred to a printable calibration certificate. In addition to computer-assisted calibration, WIKA-Cal also offers calibration and instrument data management in a SQL database. A USB interface is available for data transfer.

Fields of application, applications CPT2500
The CPT2500 can be connected to any PC with a USB interface via the CPA2500 USB adapter. Stainless steel pressure sensors with a measuring range of up to 1,000 bar are available for the USB adapter. The USB adapter automatically recognises the measuring range of the connected pressure sensor and ensures highly accurate pressure measurement.
